💖 Hi, I’m Aastha — so glad you’re here!
a mother to a strong-willed, emotional,
and incredibly loving 7-year-old girl named Shanaaya,
and the woman behind
Messy Bun Zindagi.
This blog wasn’t born from strategy — it was born from a moment.
I had just received a full-time job offer and casually asked Shanaaya if she’d be okay staying in daycare for a few hours after school. She hugged me tight… and burst into tears.
That moment shook me. I realized how deeply I’m needed here, right now—not as an employee, but as a mother. I may be replaceable in any job, but I’m irreplaceable in hers.
That’s when I decided to explore remote options and start this blog. I knew nothing about domains or content structure—just that I had a heart full of stories, emotions, and experiences that deserved a voice.
Messy Bun Zindagi is for every mom navigating the tension between giving her all to her family and still longing to hold on to the parts of herself that feel like home.
If there’s one thing I hope every mother remembers, it’s this: Don’t give up on what feels like you. You carry so much—love, guilt, strength—but you also deserve joy, rest, and self-worth.
Here’s to being present, being real, and being kind to ourselves—one messy bun day at a time.
